UK statutory audit

Most of what we need, we’ll get ourselves.

A typical audit request list runs to a few hundred items, and most of them are documents that already exist somewhere in your systems. We connect with your permission, or you upload whole folders, and we sort and process. You won’t get idiotic questions from a new junior. Your team only answers material questions that actually need a person.

And we’ll do it for much less than you pay today.

11 still need a person

The part everyone asks about

An army of agents tick, tie, check, research. A human directs and decides.

No human is perfect and no AI is perfect. We use multiple AI agents, often to check the same item more than once, but always with the oversight of a qualified human. Our software and agents drive efficiency and reduce the burden on your team. Our auditors ensure our assessments are correct, the work is appropriate and accurate. And we pass that efficiency on to you. Our audits are usually meaningfully cheaper.

Revenue cut-off testing risk assessment — agent one

Revenue is recognised on despatch. Cut-off risk assessed as moderate; the ledger shows no unusual statistical concentration around the year end.

Revenue cut-off testing risk assessment — agent two

Cut-off risk assessed as significant. Three of the ten largest invoices were raised in the final four days of the year. Whilst statistically normative, this requires scrutiny.

Resolution by auditor

“Second assessment accepted. Revenue cut-off is a significant risk on this engagement; extending the sample and testing to despatch records.”

Recorded in the audit file with the evidence both drafts were given

What your year end looks like with us

Four things happen, in this order. The first takes your IT team about ten minutes. The rest mostly happen without you.

  1. 01

    You connect, once

Grant read-only access to the folders holding your accounting records, relevant contracts and documents, and to important systems through read-only MCP servers. You choose exactly which folders and systems. You can see everything we have read, and can withdraw access at any time.

  2. 02

    We collect what already exists

Ledgers, statements, contracts, board minutes, payroll reports. Anything already sitting in your systems, we take ourselves rather than asking you to find it and send it.

  3. 03

Our agents draft, our auditors decide

Our agents independently draft the risk assessment and audit plan. Other agents compare the outputs and flag where they disagree. Your auditor resolves every disagreement and signs off the plan. Other agents then implement it.

  4. 04

    You watch it happen

The portal shows what we have, what we are working on, and what is genuinely outstanding. No status calls, no chasing, no request list arriving three weeks in.

What the software does not do

We work to International Standards on Auditing (UK). The standards do not bend because the tooling is better, and the responsibility for an audit opinion sits with a person whose name is on it.

  • It does not decide anything

Materiality, risk assessments, conclusions and recommendations are adopted and decided by auditors. Not software.

  • It does not sign anything

Every working paper, but more importantly every audit letter or opinion, is owned and signed by our people.

  • It does not learn from your books

Your data is never used to train a model. Inference runs inside the UK and EU, and stays there.

  • It does not run unapproved

Every tool is approved by the firm for a specific purpose before use, and any version we have not yet certified triggers a deeper review by a qualified person before sign-off.

No discovery call required. A quote takes us a day or two, and you will know who your engagement partner would be before you decide anything.
