Innate is a software company. We build audit software, and we work with ICAEW-registered audit firms: we bring them clients and the platform.

What we bring

• Clients. We introduce companies that need a statutory audit. Your firm decides whether to accept each appointment, on its own terms and under its own engagement letter.
• The platform. Software that does the mechanical work of an audit: it reads the client's documents, reconciles the figures and drafts workpapers for your team's review.

What stays with your firm

Your firm is the auditor. It accepts the appointment, plans and performs the audit, obtains and evaluates the evidence, reaches the conclusions and signs the auditor's report. Your team reviews what the platform drafts and decides what to rely on.

Innate is not an audit firm and is not registered as an auditor. We cannot be appointed as a company's auditor, and we do not audit or sign anything.

If your firm is leaving audit

We can introduce your audit clients, with their agreement, to an ICAEW-registered partner firm.
