Founder of Innate

What he writes about
- UK company law for directors: accounts, filing, audit exemption and when an audit is needed.
- Financial reporting under FRS 102, including the changes that take effect for periods beginning on or after 1 January 2026.
- How statutory audits work, and what auditors ask of a company and why.
- Running a finance team through a year end and an audit, drawn on his own years as a CFO.
- AI in finance and on the audit file: what software can do, and what stays with people.
How his guides are made
Alon is responsible for every guide published under his name and reviews each one after it publishes. The guides are researched and drafted with AI assistance, and checked line by line against the primary sources before they go live. How we write sets out the process.
The guides are general information, not advice, and are written by Innate, not by the audit firm we work with.
